The photo below is by the fabulous Richard Gleim, whose blog Gnogongo should be read by simply everyone. Richard's photo shows what is happening right now at Connys Studio — a tiny part of the giant Mittagspause CD/DVD box has been prepared and mixed for publication.
Reason enough to listen to a Mittagspause track. If you click on the little player thingy, you can listen to In der Tat, a song which tells us everything we always wanted to know about a certain chap called Herr Walter.

I'm trying to ignore all those rather disturbing alert messages and sirens here on my Mars Base. Bloody reactor, something's definitely not working. Anyway, Nigel is out there, keeping an eye on the horizon, so I really don't know what could go wrong.
Instead I'm listening to The Lords and their number one hit Fire. Fabulous. The cover has a nice red colour.
Of course this is all part of the Rondo Competition and intended to fool my readers. More here.

Remember kids - all you have to do is to form a proper German sentence out of those syllables and letters when the competition is finished. This is part 2 (two) out of 6 (six). Don't forget. You may better want to write that down. Just in case you forget.

And now, fresh from my weird collection of 45's, here's The Peels with Juanita Banana from the early sixties. What a fabulous record this is; in fact it's one of the best records ever made. I need some more pills please, Dr Monrö — can I have some more of those yellow ones please? They taste good.

Dr. Monrö, could you prescribe some more pills please? I'm running out.

Here we go again. Quite funny seeing Jürgen Krause and especially my old mate George (the chap on the right) in one photograph.

Anyway, here's the first (of six) installment of the brand new Rondo competition. Just get the letters in the right order and you can win a Rondo CD Box, thanks to Franz. And you all know the rules, don't you.
And because Franz is publishing all the Rondo singles on his weblog anyway, I'm now making my collection of '45s available to the public instead of repeating Franz's posts. Which makes sense and also shows that I've got no taste whatsoever.
Here's The Pirates featuring Johnny Kidd with All in it together, from 1978. Enjoy.

Welcome to the last part of our little competition, which we'll celebrate with Padeluun and Nazis are no fun (mp3, 7.8MB).
And now get all those red letters into the right order and fire off your answer to Rondo.Ton [at] gmail.com. First three people with the right answer win the Rondo Double CD Set (when it comes out).
The previous parts can be found here.
