It's a long way to Kensal Green Cemetery. But definitely worth it. And there's a new Sunday Roast Podcast over at London Leben.

Harker. A relatively new comic book series from Ariel Press which is set in London and looks just fab. As Richard Bruton writes in the Forbidden Planet weblog: "Vince Danks' frankly beautiful artwork that you can use as a map of the area it's set in. Reminds me of Gerhard from Cerebus fame in the meticulous detailing of the backgrounds and the architecture."

So who is Harker? He [...] is in his late fifties, a copper set in his ways, old fashioned and irritable, eccentric and grumpy, socially inept, a loner, very much an outsider in today's modern police force. Book One features Harker and Critchley on the trail of ritualistic satanic murders — a complex web of lies, deceit and ghoulish horror, taking place in a Secret London of catacombs, blood soaked churches and Satanic Lodges.

Sounds like my cup of tea. Issue 0 is a free download, issues 1 — 4 can be either downloaded for £1 each or ordered in the dead-tree version for £1.95 form the Ariel Press Store.

HaHaHa! I'm staying on as PM, says Brown. Gordon Brown insists he will stay on as prime minister "to do the job" of tackling recession and "cleaning up" politics. [BBC News | News Front Page | UK Edition]

The Bishop Speaks. The "systematic humiliation" of MPs is threatening Britain's democracy, the Archbishop of Canterbury has warned. He surely must be joking.

Archbishop of Canterbury Dr Rowan Williams: humiliation of MPs must stop!

Dear your Holiness, I would rather imagine those MPs hanging from their own chandeliers or possibly drowning in their moats instead of reading a crap article by you in The Times. You most definitely are nothing but a Douchenozzle. We don't need any Bishops writing bollocks, we've got enough dodgy MPs already.

Those Bishops never get it right, do they?
