ST42 beim anti-faschistischen festival in berlin am 28. september 1979. This is getting embarassing — it almost looks like today is some weird German Punk Day here at the Cartoonist. Be rest assured it is. Over at Kraut Mask Replica (which, by the way, is a fab mp3 weblog) you can now listen to my old band ST42 live at the Audimax in Berlin in 1979 and read the collections of my faded memory. Good Grief. So this was really published? The things you find on the web ... Anyway, I designed this record cover for Clox back in probably 1981 or so, even played with the band but didn't have the slightest idea it was actually published. Now if someone would please be so kind to upload an mp3 of this somewhere? And let me know? Via linkfilter (God, do I really have to find out about this through linkfilter?). Anyway, looking back at this I think it's quite a fab record cover design; and it's all drawn by hand.
