Comic, found in a Box. UFO. If I'm not completely mistaken, this was published in only two colours (black and cyan) on some kind of loo paper in the early/mid-seventies within the German Zack! comic magazine. However, the artwork itself is quite good actually. A few sample pages below. Update: Looks as if I'm completely mistaken here. Were those comics published in Primo? Where they published in Perry? Deteriorated Tape, found in a Drawer.  Regular readers of my weblog will know that I used to play as a rather rubbish rhythm guitarist in a few bands — Neat and Clox come to mind (more about this on my 1979 Deutschland pages). This was in the late 70s/early 80s and the music we played was called Punk Rock. However, after leaving Neat, I actually formed my own band. We were called ST42. And only a few days ago I discovered an old rehearsal room tape tucked away in a drawer. To my knowledge this is the only surviving tape of ST42. A true gem, a collector's item, the dog's bollocks, and I extracted 4 songs from this tape, which I'm now publishing here for the first time to a broader audience. Under no circumstances listen to this. The recording was done with two microphones hanging from the ceiling in a tiny little room and the tape itself is now almost 30 years old. Those incredible Soviet Trains. While I'm certainly not a fan of military history or military equipment (God forbid!), those Soviet Armoured Trains are simply incredible; their design is pure steampunk; some of them look like the Nautilus.
