Hainault Station is just being refurbished (an ongoing project which will probably take another 23 years until it's finished). With lots of cameras, the way it looks.

According to Ina, these pictures were taken by a professional photographer at the London WorldCon in 1957. Norman made a deal with him after the con and bought 3" x 5" copies of just about all the photos, which have been in a box in Higher Bebington ever since.

My hosting provider was suffering from a DOS attack yesterday which left the Cartoonist dead for most of the day and the night. I couldn't even fetch my e-mails. Nasty. Anyway, in Erlangen, Germany, the Orion Bar has opened its door to members of the Fast Space Agencies and the Galactic Security Service. And possibly the general public as well. More pictures at the Starlight Casino. This must be the best Space Kitsch I've seen for years. Fab.

You may remember that I once played in one of Germany's first punk bands, called the Neat. Paul, our bassist, just sent me a link which I found extremely funny: The Neat.

Beer and fags. Photo taken at the Blue Anchor, Hammersmith. Photoshop was not involved. Funny things, those digital SLRs.

Listen to the Twatcasts: part #1, #2, #3. They are delivered with the attached warranty of hilarious entertainment. And Zoe is apparently riding a broomstick now (has got nothing to do with the twatcasts, but I can actually imagine her travelling about on a broomstick). Oh, I'll be in trouble now.

I've just finished reading Victoria's Wars by Saul David and I'm happy to say that basically bugger all has changed since 1837. Great book.
