This afternoon I received a telephone call from the Chief Inspector at Complaints & Discipline (now called Professional Standards Department). He wants to come down to F Division next Tuesday for an 'informal chat'. This is not normal. I've pulled in some favours and found a reasonable source at the Centre, so I should know what it's all about soon. I'm thinking that someone has betrayed me regarding the Blog. Probably also quite interesting for my UK readers: Mr. Chalk — the horrors of the inner city comprehensive; NHS Blog Doctor — a candid look at health care; and of course The Policeman's blog — A Journey into the mad, mad world of the British underclass and the Public sector, where nothing is too insane for it to be written down and copied in triplicate.
