Old Mates. Harry Rag & Peter Hein & Fehlfarben: Die wilde 13 [MP3].

The Blongs. This is all Majo's fault. And I'm actually very busy today, which is why I've posted today's entries yesterday. But there you go. There's no escape. This is going to get very German now.

1. Ein Lied aus deiner frühesten Kindheit
Love me do, The Beatles.

Keine Ahnung. Wahrscheinlich Flattermann von the Neat.

Keine Ahnung. Eben Satellite of Love.

Run Run Run - The Velvet Underground

E und A!

Piccicato in Heaven.

13. Ein Lied, das momentan dein Lieblingssong ist
My LCA von Githead.

Was jetzt?

Ah - Una Festa Sui Prati.

Busy tomorrow. Tomorrow's blog entries today. The Tigerfibel.

The Tiger 1 was a complex and expensive machine, prone to break down in places where repair or even retrieval might be impossible. Lt. Col Hans Christern, in charge of training Tiger crews, realised that a manual written by soldiers might be an easier read than the dull booklets authored by the manufacturers. Via Coudal.

Basil Says. A picture named basil2.jpgI believe The Cartoonist is rather annoyed today:

Dear Ralf
Thank you for your interest in the advertised vacancy.
I have read your CV with interest, however unfortunately will not be taking your application any further. The role demands a specific set of skills and experiences which in this instance do not match your background.
I wish you all the best,
Kind regards
XXX

The Cartoonist keeps wondering: what else is there he doesn't know about the wonderful world of advertising? Having worked above the line, below the line, knowing a Mac insideout, able to do magic marker scamps, having art directed photo shoots and films, even working on multimedia business apparently isn't enough these days. So perhaps he should grow himself a third leg or something like that? Or dye his hair green? Wear sunglasses all the time? Or a Paul Smith Suit? Dear readers, enlighten The Cartoonist. Cheer him up.

No Money Down. This video is from '85 or '86, but I still find it shocking somehow. It also reminds me of the Muppets Show though.

Update: from some of the reactions (emails) I received, I should add that this video is probably not safe for work; also, if you're of a weird personality anyway, this video could make you even totally weird. Bonkers. Don't watch this video.

I hate this. As you might have noticed, I've slightly changed the templates of The Cartoonist, regarding the headings/titles of each post. It doesn't matter why I've done that (this had something to do with my RSS feed, which I still don't understand), but anyway, I've tested it, just to be on the safe side.

Now have a look: Safari OK. Mozilla OK. Firefox OK. Even Opera OK. Only Microsoft Explorer shows weird stuff. Why, oh why? Oh bugger this. I'll have a beer now.

Or is it merely Fooball World Cup? World Cup by Foot? I don't know much about this sport. Anyway, here's Boneball. Applause.
