 A picture named basil8.jpg

Whenever you encounter a Dinosaur, offer him/her a carrot or a banana, or some licorice. He/she will treat you as a friend then, possibly. It works, usually. Sometimes it doesn't.

La Ligne Claire. London Town, 1883, designed and illustrated by Thos. Crane & Ellen Houghton. Comes via Coudal pointing to BibliOdyssey, who in turn got the link from Suzanne G. Anyway, the illustrations are done in a fabulous Ligne Claire style, way before Hergé even thought about a little reporter and his dog.
