Terrorist Photoshop Competition. I just had a few minutes fun with Photoshop® enhancing the rather dodgy CCTV images of the terrorist bombers. The images are all available on the BBC website. Now who can do better? Copy and paste your results into the comments, or leave a URL. Oh, c'mon, this is going to be fun - and we actually might help closing in on those nutters.

The Clash in Germany. In 1977, the Clash toured Germany. Also in 1977, the German Punk fanzine The Ostrich published 'Total Control', a little A5 booklet full with articles about the band's gigs in Hamburg, Frankfurt and Munich. Because I think there's a certain historical value to this, I created a PDF [4.8MB] of the fanzine. It's partly written in English (the interviews with the band), but most of it is in German (the articles). Enjoy and download.

No More Blogging Today. Got to watch the news. Latest updates at Going Underground and London Leben.

Annie just writes (14:15): Just to trying to confirm where the explosions were. Four definitely confirmed attacks - One on a Metropolitan line train at Aldgate at the end of the line. One in the rear carriage of a Circle Line train between Paddington and Edgware Road. One on a Piccadilly Line train between King's Cross and Russell Square and the one where pictures are shocking everyone, on the Number 59 bus that was destroyed at Tavistock Square near Russell Square. It's still believed that two other buses may have been attacked and there were reports of explosions at King's Cross and Liverpool Street stations.

Chaos in London. I was on my way into town, when we all had to leave the Central Line train at Leytonstone station. There were rumours of a 'blast' at Liverpool Street station; I managed to get back home by bus, just arrived and am glued to BBC News on the telly. There have been at least 6 explosions, all in Central London.
