Liebe GGK [1]. Amazing. I've received a tremendous feedback after publishing a rather old GGK Memo; thank you everyone. Now here's another one. And there are more to follow; one for every month. Many thanks to Jürgen, who compiled the booklet with all the Liebe GGk memos in the first place and who I can't trace anymore; many thanks to GGK, to Paul Gredinger and to Michael Schirner. And to all the others. It was a great time; in fact it was the best of all times.A new Category Liebe GGK can be found here, and the RSS feed is here. Sorry it's all in German, but it could be worse - GGK was always a Swiss network. You don't want to read any Schwyzerdütsch or Brookenduetsch here, do you? Have some fun instead.

Before I'm running out of Steam. The X-Lab. Troubleshooting Mac Os X. Fab. BTW: in case Stuffit doesn't work anymore on your machine (since yesterday), simply switch off 'Allow Version Checking' in the prefs. Apparently they're having trouble wih their 'Version Checking Website'; whatever that is.

Bigger and Bigger. I'm pretty sure. The Markenmuseum is on it's way of becoming the best brand and advertising museum on the web. And they now offer Quicktime videos of commercials along with the products featured. Fab.

Hommage to an Unknown Artist. Wonderful. Lots of thanks to Jaime.Stefan Mart was the narrator and illustrator of the picture book Tales of the Nations, published in Hamburg in 1933 by the "Cigarettenbilderdienst Hamburg-Bahrenfeld" ("Cigarette Picture Service"). It won the hearts of innumerable children and grown-ups in the course of the six years that it was in print. This was due above all to the 150 colour illustrations: they were small in size, but strong in expression, each a microcosm packed with action, each a feast for the eyes like a beautifully set jewel; everything was finely-drawn and clear, indeed with the exaggerated clarity of the caricature; they all radiated the shining, flaming colourfulness of modern painting.
