The German author Friedhelm Rathjen now has his own little corner on the web: Kein Tag ohne Zeile - Fördererkreis deutscher Schriftsteller in Niedersachsen und Bremen. "Außerdem veröffentlicht er in internationalen Fachzeitschriften und Sammelbänden literaturwissenschaftliche Aufsätze, hauptsächlich zu Arno Schmidt, James Joyce und Samuel Beckett. Ab 1986 kamen Vorträge und Tagungsreferate in Europa und den USA hinzu. Außerdem schreibt Rathjen für Tageszeitungen und für das "irland journal" Reiseberichte (v.a. über Irland, auch über Schottland, Rom, Nordfriesland und den Nordwesten der USA). Seit 1989 arbeitet Rathjen als literarischer Übersetzer. Eingedeutscht hat er u.a.
